Promoting Sustainability in the Food Districts: Alta Marca Trevigiana, Dorgali Gonone and Media Valle Tirso

The valorisation of Italian agrifood excellence also passes through the strengthening of the Food Districts, true laboratories of innovation and sustainability. CibuSalus has recently flanked three important territorial realities – the Food Districts Alta Marca Trevigiana, Dorgali Gonone and Media Valle Tirso – in their candidature for the 2nd MASAF-MIMIT call.

A project to strengthen local supply chains

The main objective of the initiative was to support the Districts in the preparation of solid and competitive applications, able to meet the requirements of the call. Through an integrated approach, strategic and financial plans were developed to

  • Strengthen local agri-food supply chains.
  • Promote environmental, social and economic sustainability.
  • Enhance typical products and territorial excellence.

A work shared with the territories

The CibuSalus consultancy was divided into several activities, including:

  • Analysis of needs and definition of strategic priorities for each District.
  • Preparation of the technical and financial documentation required by the call.
  • Active involvement of local stakeholders, including producers, institutions and associations, to ensure an inclusive and shared approach.

Expected Results

Thanks to this work, the Alta Marca Trevigiana, Dorgali Gonone and Media Valle Tirso Food Districts aim to become models of sustainable development and innovation, capable of combining tradition and modernity. The applications submitted offer a concrete opportunity to access funding to improve the competitiveness of the territories and promote balanced and environmentally friendly growth.
